Hypnotherapy specialist in Norfolk
Hypnotherapist at Free the Mind.
Hello and welcome.
Are you visiting my page because you have an issue that’s holding you back? Do you want to make a change? Improve your quality of life?
If you would like to experience hypnotherapy to help you make the changes you wish to make, then you have found the right place.
Hypnotherapy works by using a deeply relaxed state of mind to help you make the changes you require to move forward. I as the hypnotherapist provide the environment for you to do this and facilitate the process.
Hypnotherapy is collaborative therapy
Many people believe that Hypnotherapy is something that is “done” to them, that the hypnotherapist as some element of control, or that they simple magic your problems away. Hypnotherapy is in fact a collaborative approach between therapist and client. The changes happen because you want them to happen, and you are prepared to take the steps to allow this to happen.
If you choose me, we will have a short telephone conversation to establish what it is you would like to achieve through hypnotherapy, after this short assessment, I will then book you in for an initial consultation.
Hypnotherapy consultation session
The initial consultation is the time we go into detail about how the presenting issue is affecting you and your life, I can then make an assessment about how hypnotherapy can help you, and if it is the right therapy path for you. It gives the opportunity for us to meet each other, and you can ask any questions you require. I will also discuss number of sessions likely to be required at this point. The average number of sessions required is four, but again this is very individual to each person and depends on the issue.
I then go away and formulate a therapy plan bespoke to you. In subsequent sessions we will focus on the hypnotherapy. What you want to achieve and get out of each session. What is and is not working for you.
Self-hypnosis techniques for ongoing support
I provide you with short exercises to help you away from the therapy session and you also get a recording of each hypnotherapy session. This allows you to work on learning self-hypnosis away from the therapy room.
N.B There are exceptions where certain sessions should only be carried out with a therapist present. I will discuss this with you at your appointment.
Once you have completed your sessions, I will provide a six week follow up email to see how you have been getting on.
