Relationship Counselling
Relationships can bring a great deal of happiness, comfort and connection, but they can also feel painful, confusing or distant at times. When communication breaks down or you start to feel more like flatmates than partners, it can be difficult to know how to make things better on your own.
I offer couples counselling as a space where both of you can feel heard, supported and understood. It’s a chance to slow down, explore what’s been happening between you, and begin to reconnect in a more open and compassionate way.
I trained in relationship therapy at The Grove Practice in London, which has a strong reputation for its integrative and emotionally focused approach. My work draws on a range of models, but always with warmth, care and collaboration at the heart. Together, we’ll look at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and find new ways of relating that feel more supportive and connected.

The Aims of Couples Counselling
Couples come to counselling for many different reasons; perhaps you’re finding it hard to communicate, arguing more often, or struggling to move on from something painful. Whatever has brought you here, my aim is to help you understand each other better and create space for real change.
In our work together, we might focus on:
• Improving communication
Learning to talk and really listen to each other again.
• Rebuilding trust
Gently working through hurt or disappointment.

• Recognising patterns
Understanding why you get caught in the same cycle and finding new ways forward.

• Strengthening your bond
Rebuilding closeness, intimacy and appreciation.

• Finding clarity
Exploring what you both want for the future, whether that’s growing together or separating with mutual respect.
Every relationship is unique, and there’s no single “right” way to move forward. Counselling offers the time and space to pause, reflect, and start to make positive, lasting changes together.
